Lineup the bottom arrow of the Throw UI with the dot in the center at the top of the window, as seen in Image #2

Normal throw or jump throw, both work, jump throw flies way higher so maybe it could throw off the enemies crosshairs a little more but it lands in the same spot at the same time either way.
